Privacy

This site is a set of static pages served from a content delivery network. It sets no advertising cookie, runs no analytics script, and stores no account. There is nothing to log into, and nothing to buy, so no payment data and no address is ever collected here.

The host records the ordinary technical data any web server keeps in order to serve a request and to defend itself against abuse: the requested address, the time, the response code and a coarse indication of the network the request came from. Those records are held by the hosting provider for a short period and are not used by this desk to build a profile of a reader, and they are not sold or shared for advertising.

If you write to the address on the contact page, the desk keeps your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer, and then only if the exchange produced a correction worth keeping in the record. You can ask at any time what is held about you, ask for a copy, or ask for it to be deleted, and the desk will do it unless it is legally required to keep the exchange. A correction that has been published is part of the public record and is not deleted, but your name and address are removed from it.
